Limestone project: Qatar embassy in Brussels – Belgium
SGM has finished the supply of the new Qatar embassy in Brussels – Belgium, using mostly Moca Creme limestone, but also Gris Europa limestone and Basaltina stone from Italy. The project is finished and has already won some building and design awards, quickly becoming a reputable building project in the city of Brussels.
The Qatar embassy project in Brussels is another high-profile embassy project that is supplied by SGM with Portuguese limestones. This project involved the supply of mostly Moca Creme Classic limestone for all the exterior cladding applications. In addition, it was used on most interior coverings, flooring and some decoration. On the interior applications, it was often combined with Basaltina stone from Italy, while on the exteriors was combined with Irish grey limestone.
The result of this supply is a wonderful project, with an impressive exterior façade, as well as beautiful interiors where the parallel vein of the Moca Creme gives an interesting dimension and grandiosity to the project. This will become without question one of the reference projects supplied by our company.
SGM is currently in negotiation for the supply of two new embassy projects located in Africa and Asia. With the experience we already have supplying this type of highly demanding projects, we will be looking forward to the new projects!
